Orchard! Wah... i dunno how long i haven been there. Went to Far East, HMV, Paragon, Taka, basically walked the whole stretch of Orchard road. So tiring, but enjoyed my day. :)

Went to the old Turf Club for lunch today. Saw these lovely winnie the pooh series in Giant. So cute! I want!!!!!! Haha... Look at eeyore... so innocent looking....

EeeeKs!! this stupid dragonfly was in my bedroom! I was like screaming for my dad to catch it... Phew... anw, that's my mum's hand. She was holding it so that i can take pictures of it... haha. Too bad i only had my camera phone, or else i'll take a clearer pic which shows how disgusting the dragonfly looks...

POOR SERVICE & POOR ATTITUDE! IDIOTIC FACE & FUCKING WANNA SLAP THE PERSON. ASK FOR WIRE BINDING INTO CALENDAR. THEY DUN PROVIDE THE BACKING DEN JUZ SAY PROPERLY LAH! NEED TO GIVE BLACK FACE AND BE RUDE?

I'M TOTALLY FUCKING PISSED OFF BY RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE BRAS BASAH BUILDING TO FIND A BACKING FOR MY CALENDAR. IN THE END, I BOUGHT A THICK VANGUARD PAPER FROM POPULAR BOOK STORE. THE QUEUE WAS FUCKING LONG AND THE COMPUTER WAS DOWN. THEY HAD TO CALCULATE MANUALLY WHICH IS DAMN SLOW!

FINALLY BOUGHT IT. WENT BACK TO THE BINDING SHOP AND ASKED IF THEY CAN HELP ME CUT THE PAPER INTO THE SIZE I WANT. GUESS WAT?!?!?!?! THE PERSON PASSED ME A PENKNIFE AND A RULER AND TOLD ME TO CUT ON THE TABLE OUTSIDE THEIR SHOP MYSELF!

THAT'S NOT ALL... IN THE END, AFTER CUTTING THE PAPER, I REALISED THAT IT WAS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD AND STAND. SO I FUCKING DUN CARE ANYMORE & BOUGHT A 2008 CALENDAR IN THEIR SHOP TO USE THE BACKING, THOUGH THE SIZE WAS A BIT SMALL...

AT LAST!!!!!! DONE. ASKED THE PERSON HOW MUCH ALL TOGETHER, SHE JUZ TOOK MY $10 IN MY HAND AND GAVE ME BACK $2.10 WITHOUT TELLING ME THE COST. HOW RUDE!!!!!! THAT'S NOT THE MAIN CONCERN. THE THING IS, THE CALENDAR COST $2.90, SO THE BINDING COST $5 WHEN SHE TOLD ME $4 IN THE BEGINNING?!?!?! THE THICKNESS IS ONLY 4mm!!! HOW RIDICULOUS! ANYHOW JUZ UP THE PRICE. FUCKING BITCH!!!

SO DUN EVER GO TO THE SHOP!!! YOU'LL END UP PAYING MORE & HAVING HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE...

PSA Port Tour

Finally back to my small little cosy room.

So tired and feeling a little dizzy after a long bus ride from PSA building back to hall on bus no. 10... Approx 1 hour.... Duhz...

The port tour was rather interesting. Hmm.... it's like going for an excursion. Haha. The aim is to let the applicants have a better understanding of the environment and job scope that they are applying for. Had a really fun time looking at those huge containers and the lifts operating.

Oh! Not forgetting to mention about this fren of mine whom I get to know her during the port tour. She's also from NTU and majoring in Chemical and biological Engineering. She's smart and friendly too. And she knows you (ZiHui)!!!! Haha... My greatest achievement of the day!

OK, back to the port tour.
I was very pleased and more interested in this job i'm applying for after the port tour. Oops! did i mention wat i'm applying for? It's Operations Executive (OE). Rather unique position which other companies seldom have. I love the dynamic job nature. That is, it's full of unexpected ventures everyday. OEs manage and organise the port operations, mainly leadership roles. They have to deal with many different levels of ppl, ranging from crane operators to the upper management team. They will also deal with sudden changes and accidents. Alot of decisions making and planning are made by them. I'm juz for this kinda job as i hated routine jobs and fixed office hours... Soooo Boring!!! But one thing bad about this job. OEs have to do 12hours shifts. Both day and night.... Looks like i have to learn and get used to not sleeping at night if i get the job. :(

Now, I'll have to wait for them to shortlist ppl down for the prelim interview. Hopefully i can be shortlisted and make my way through the 2nd (Final) interview too. Wish me LUCK!
